Checklist

Compliance is not a checkbox for Wall of Africa. It is the operational foundation of the business. We built our supply chain around verification and responsibility from day one — because the buyers we serve, the communities we source from, and the infrastructure we are developing all demand nothing less. Wall of Africa applies a single compliance standard across every commodity we source and trade — minerals, agricultural products, and marine produce. That standard is built on four pillars: legal sourcing, independent verification, full documentation, and responsible trade. Every consignment we handle meets all four before it reaches a buyer.

NIGERIA AND DODD-FRANK

One of Wall of Africa's most significant compliance advantages is our sourcing origin. Dodd-Frank Section 1502 requires US publicly traded companies to conduct due diligence on the sourcing of tin, tantalum, tungsten, and gold — specifically where those minerals may originate from the Democratic Republic of Congo or any of its nine adjoining countries. Nigeria is not among those covered countries. This means Wall of Africa's Nigerian-origin cassiterite and heavy mineral sands carry a significantly simpler compliance profile for US publicly traded buyers than equivalent minerals sourced from the DRC region. Our CMRT declaration confirms Nigeria as country of origin — enabling faster procurement approval, simpler Form SD filing, and a cleaner supply chain audit trail for your compliance team.

OUR COMPLIANCE

FRAMEWORK

INDEPENDENT VERIFICATION

Every mineral shipment is independently assayed by SGS Nigeria or Bureau Veritas Lagos — two of the world's most recognised commodity inspection and certification bodies. The assay certificate confirms elemental composition, weight, and country of origin. This is not a sample test. It is a full shipment verification conducted before goods leave Nigeria. Agricultural and marine consignments are independently inspected and certified under SGS quality standards, confirming grade, moisture content, and compliance with international food safety requirements.

OECD DUE DILIGENCE

Wall of Africa applies the full five-step OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas to all mineral transactions. Our due diligence framework covers management systems, risk identification, risk mitigation, independent audit, and public reporting — available to qualified buyers on request.

CMRT DECLARATION

Wall of Africa maintains a Conflict Minerals Reporting Template declaration for all 3TG minerals — tin, tantalum, tungsten, and gold. Our CMRT declares Nigeria as the country of origin for all applicable minerals and confirms that our supply chain does not involve the DRC or any adjoining country. Available to all US publicly traded buyers on request.

Our complete chain of custody package is prepared per confirmed order and includes the following documents — available to qualified buyers on request:

AGRICULTURAL AND MARINE COMPLIANCE

All agricultural products exported by Wall of Africa are certified under the Nigerian Agricultural Quarantine Service phytosanitary standards — confirming produce is pest-free, disease-free, and compliant with the importing country's agricultural requirements. SGS quality inspection certificates confirm grade, moisture content, and purity per consignment. All marine products are certified under NAFDAC food safety regulations and accompanied by veterinary health certificates confirming fitness for human consumption and compliance with international export standards.

Wall of Africa sources exclusively from licensed Nigerian operators across all commodity categories.

Minerals and Ores — we purchase exclusively from miners holding valid Mining Leases issued by Nigeria's Mining Cadastre Office. The miner's license number is recorded on every purchase transaction and forms part of our chain of custody documentation.

Agricultural Products — we source through licensed Nigerian agricultural operators whose operations comply with NAQS export certification requirements and Nigerian food safety standards.

Marine Products — we source through licensed Nigerian aquaculture and fishing operations certified under NAFDAC food safety regulations.
